  • A relationship-driven pop-up event, Japanese Lifestyle Pop-up & Networking Evening, designed to showcase Japanese products to local buyers in NY

Methods
  • Provided comprehensive feedback on approximately 150 products from 40 Japanese companies, evaluating each from business, design, and marketing/communication perspectives.

  • Planned and executed a pop-up event to support approximately 20 Japanese lifestyle brands not exhibited at NY NOW or Shoppe Object, showcasing products such as incense, textiles, and kitchenware to local buyers in NYC. Collaborated with The Gallery by Odo, a restaurant and art space created by two-Michelin-starred Japanese chef Hiroki Odo.

  • Conducted post-event follow-ups, successfully converting meetings into business opportunities.

ABOUT

The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) is a government-affiliated entity dedicated to promoting mutual trade and investment between Japan and countries worldwide. Established in 1958 to boost Japanese exports, JETRO’s mission has evolved in the 21st century to focus on attracting foreign direct investment into Japan and supporting small to medium-sized Japanese enterprises in expanding their global export capabilities.


As part of JETRO San Francisco’s project, “Japanese Lifestyle Showcase in SF: Craft & Essentials from Japan,” our company provided comprehensive product feedback to participating brands and designed an experience to connect them with buyers in NYC.
